Over the last ten years (excluding Covid years) about 10 million people or about 3% of the total US population visited ski resorts (most made multiple visits each season).

I live within 1-2 hours of downhill ski resorts in the Cascade volcanoes and skiing is a big thing here.

The orange line here represents total U.S. population – and its only purpose is to give a false impression of growth in skiers – in this case, growth in population but not much growth in total skiers.
