It is becoming unanimous – cloth masks do not work:
Dr. Tom Frieden, director of the CDC during the Obama Administration, tweeted Monday encouraging people to upgrade “from a cloth mask to a surgical mask, or from a surgical mask to an N95/KN95/equivalent.”

The “cover” story is that new variants might be some what more transmissible and require better protection. Uh huh. Admitting that cloth masks didn’t work, as shown by the exploding cases this fall and winter would be hard to do, wouldn’t it?
