But the district should do more and take action quickly, Crandall said, including teaching a comprehensive climate curriculum in every subject, not just science class, providing free lunch to all students, ensuring that schools in lower income communities have as many resources as those in wealthier neighborhoods and doing more to connect young people with green careers.
