A strictly local retail, product or service business may have little need for global skills and thinking. Yet a company developing software or products that may be used globally, or sourced from outside the country, may have a much larger need for global skills. Age discrimination in travel
As I have said repeatedly on this blog TRAVEL INTERNATIONALLY WHEN YOU ARE YOUNG. DO NOT SAVE YOUR MONEY FOR A FUTURE THAT MAY NEVER ARRIVE.
In addition, there are extra hurdles that arise for older travelers – some are, in effect, age discrimination. But there is nothing we can do about it once we have crossed certain age boundaries.
