A 29 year old Californian named Loni was feeling adrift in 2013 and on the spur of the moment, booked a flight to Europe to hike the Camino de Santiago trail. She would eventually meet Kjartan, a med student from Denmark. And the story goes – she moved to London to be closer and eventually relocated to Denmark. Along the hike they discovered that the destination wasn’t their goal – it was the journey that mattered. Today, living in Denmark, they have 3 children.
That’s certainly one way to develop international skills 🙂
