I noted this before. New Zealand and a few other countries prohibit residency for those over a certain age.
Again – TRAVEL WHEN YOU ARE YOUNG. Consider working abroad or even living abroad when younger, potentially gaining a 2nd citizenship.
Once you pass a certain age (depending on country), your only option is to purchase a visa via investment – these can cost from $100k to $10 million and are available primarily to the very wealthy.
