The reality is few have immigration privilege and close to zero will leave the U.S., regardless of the election outcome.

Educated at elite schools, he’s lived and worked in multiple countries. He may already have a residency visa for France. As he is also Jewish, he has an immigration right to move to Israel, too.
The above article quotes from other smug, elitists – about how awful America is and they too may be leaving. Good riddance! The reality is 2-3% of Americans are living abroad, most just temporarily. Less than 1% retire abroad – and half of those because they had prior dual citizenship (typically because they were born to immigrant parents, in the U.S., and had an immigration privilege of dual citizenship in their parents’ homeland), had family living in the destination country, or they were already living and working in the destination country. Since that is where their life has been, and where they own a home, they choose to retire there. The largest groups of American retirees live in Mexico or Canada – not the exotic European countries featured in content mill stories.
Pro tip: since so many will be leaving the U.S. in 2025, home prices will collapse! Great time to buy a home in 2025!
