I am also allergic to almonds, although I think I would have to ingest almonds to have a significant reaction – not merely sit by people consuming almonds.
She says the airline’s medical group advised an emergency landing but a passenger who was a cardiologist didn’t think that was necessary, so the airline continued on to the destination. The affected passenger said she used two Epi-Pens to control her reaction.
I carry two Epi-Pens, prednisone tablets, Benadryl tablets, and Pepcid-AC (can reduce nausea sometimes caused by high dose of prednisone).
