Very few will move abroad and most will not qualify for residency/work visas in other countries:
State Of The ‘Union’: Nearly Two-Thirds Of Young Americans Have Considered Moving Abroad
Half of their parents say they are thinking of moving abroad too, which is even less likely!
The survey was done of young adults age 18 to 34. According to Grok, there are about 77 million young adults age 18 to 34. 2/3ds of that would be about 50 million. Thus, 50 million young adults think they are going to move abroad! 50 million is 10x more than the total number of Americans living abroad today! Hah hah!
It is estimated that less than 2% of Americans live abroad, and about 1% of retirees live abroad. Of retirees, about 1/2 of those had prior dual citizenship/right of descent ancestry privileges and family living in their destination country. Those numbers are close to ZERO!
But magically, 50 million adults and half their parents think they might move abroad! Hilarious!
