Social media forums, Business Insider, and YouTube are full of content about how wonderful it is for (usually) Americans to move abroad (most can’t, actually) where everything is cheaper. It’s cheaper only because of dollar aribitrage – and is driving up costs for locals, who earn low incomes in the local currency.
They are not happy about this.
