But new research finds that mortality varied greatly by region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The Black Death (1347\u20131352 AD) is the most infamous pandemic in human history.
