In Britain, locals have free admission to walk on the Brighton Pier, but those from outside the area must pay admission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitor fees, taxes &#8211; and sometimes calling them &#8220;environmental and conservation assessments&#8221; are a growing trend.
