How often have you heard a friend say they must flee America to save their sanity? I hear it about once a week, and so does this user. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently I noticed U.S. media stories that are basically “Someone finds something awful about America and moves to another country where everything is idyllic”. Except when I dig into the stories, at best, the truth has been misrepresented. Most commonly, the person featured in the story is either a dual citizen or has a right-of-ancestry immigration privilege that most do not have, or, they did not, in fact, move full time – and commute back and forth between the U.S. and their destination country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
