Might also be due to changing tourist preferences &#8211; and some museum experiences are no longer seen as a good value (and higher entrance fees will not help that).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This trend is going on everywhere &#8211; new travel fees, new tourist taxes, new environmental fees &#8211; and tourist officials saying they want fewer visitors who spend more money.
