Further, due to the climate, the area harvest two crops per year on the same land, for some of these items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nor we can assume they will be grown in some other country due to transportation time and costs (let alone the effects on the environment).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The valley also produces spinach, kale, arugula, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, brussels sprouts, cabbage, celery, carrots, potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, various squash and grapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">James is proving that the purpose of social media is to make a fool of oneself in public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Agriculture is a total flop industry, urban development is a million times more useful and productive.<\/p>&mdash; James\ud83d\uddf3 (@_fat_ugly_rat_) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/_fat_ugly_rat_\/status\/2065829098291671046?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 13, 2026<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.x.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;James&#8221; suggests we should pave over the Salinas Valley of CA as a more productive use of land.
