They proclaim &#8220;diversity and tolerance&#8221; but are, in real life, extremely intolerant of others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>In February, the University of Arizona apologized after its fans chanted the profanity at BYU\u2019s basketball team in Tucson, the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/6154429\/2025\/02\/23\/arizona-byu-chant-apology\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Times<\/a>&nbsp;reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In September 2022, the University of Oregon&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/us-news\/u-oregon-apologizes-despicable-chants-saturday-football-game-rcna48239\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">issued a similar apology<\/a>&nbsp;after fans of their school\u2019s football team repeatedly chanted the expletive at players from BYU.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.colorado.edu\/today\/2025\/09\/28\/chancellor-schwartz-and-ad-george-fan-behavior\">From Chancellor Schwartz and AD George: Fan behavior | CU Boulder Today | University of Colorado Boulder<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/CUBoulder\/status\/1972509379275727359?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1972509379275727359%7Ctwgr%5E9242007bac003edef12f3f4f94eea5f36e7e3565%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.today.com%2Fnews%2Fmormon-chant-cu-byu-football-game-rcna234528\">CU Boulder \ud83e\uddac on X: &#8220;The University of Colorado Boulder strongly condemns the use of expletives and religious slurs by individuals in the stands during the recent football game against BYU. (1\/7)&#8221; \/ X<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The University says the usual BS that all organizations say after being caught: &#8220;Such behavior is deeply disappointing <strong><em>and does not reflect the values of respect, inclusion and integrity we expect of our campus community<\/em><\/strong>&#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In fact, like all organizations that make these statement, this is the Begging the Question Fallacy.
