She was subsequently fired but says it was her 1st Amendment right to hang the flag across El Capitan: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2025-08-18\/yosemite-employee-fired-after-flying-trans-pride-flag?taid=68a34f9f366aa8000142941f&amp;utm_campaign=trueanthem&amp;utm_content=business&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=twitter\">Yosemite Employee Fired After Flying Trans Pride Flag &#8211; Bloomberg<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If we have a 1st Amendment right to do that, then presumably others could fly MAGA symbols, political statements on any topic, political campaign signs, Ukrainian, Israeli and Gaza flags and what not at any national park in a similar way?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We could turn all popular venues in our national parks into political protest zones.
