CCN also openly promotes the idea that journalists should not be objective when reporting on climate and energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8230;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to CCN, journalists have a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/coveringclimatenow.org\/from-us-story\/journalists_have_a_moral_obligation_to_declare_a_climate_emergency\/\">moral obligation<\/a>\u201d to advocate for the climate agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8230;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBut the planet is on fire. One candidate wants to add fuel to the flames. The other wants to douse those flames. Making that distinction clear is neither partisan nor advocacy.
