See <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politifact.com\/truth-o-meter\/statements\/2014\/jul\/21\/facebook-posts\/social-media-meme-says-alan-greenspan-said-insecur\/\">here<\/a> for the documentation including an interview with Chomsky and a link to what Greenspan actually said in Congressional testimony.<br \/>\nThis item was &#8220;shared&#8221; in to my FB news feed. This works as propaganda because it &#8220;sounds plausible&#8221; to the target, a FB group titled &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/TooInformed\/photos\/a.265725813463105.55974.265719336797086\/926532560715757\/?type=3\">Too informed to vote Republican<\/a>&#8220;. Numerous comments to the original post note this quote is not real, but the group has not taken down the false quote.<br \/>\nFalsehood spread through propaganda lives forever!
