Many languages are gendered, including German.<\/p>\n<p>Numerous languages are strongly gendered. In Spanish, we say &#8220;El gato&#8221; (the cat, with the masculine El definite article), or &#8220;La Casa&#8221; (the house, with a feminine definite article).
