Here’s the price trend during 2021 – the above chart ends up sending the opposite message to the one they intended. They really went there and did that. Face plant.<\/p>\n

This is a classic form of cherry picking – to exaggerate a trend, make the Y-axis range very tiny. Or just leave the Y-Axis off entirely! And leave off the X-Axis too! Works great!<\/p>\n

How to embarrass yourself – with a chart. DCCC sent this out saying “Thank you Joe Biden” – for a 2 cent or 1\/2 % decrease in prices after a massive run up in prices. This is basically cherry picking the Y-Axis to make it look like there was a large drop.
