Nitrous Oxide is laughing gas. Nitrogen Dioxide is considered an air pollutant. This error comes to us from the Portland, Oregon TV Station KGW news anchor.<\/p>\n<p>It is scary how often these bloopers occur. How can we &#8211; or should we &#8211; trust much of what they report? It really is scary how many times this happens.<\/p>\n<p>(I double checked with my son who has a PhD in chemistry and am in process of triple checking with my two daughters &#8211; one is a geochemist\/geologist\/microbiologist and the other is a psychiatric nurse practitioner.
