Media: They actually did that
GMA/ABC says that Justice Jackson is the first Black Supreme Court Justice. In fact, she is the third.

A former US Surgeon General asserts the “appeal to authority” argument form – where neither facts nor logic supported his position. Instead, he came across as arrogant and dismissive of those lacking the qualifications to question his errant comments – even though he was wrong. This attitude has become common during the Covid era and has led to “the suicide of expertise” – that is, the loss of trust in experts and even Science itself.
A medical professional posted on Twitter that she can and will withhold care from patients based on her perception of the patient’s sex, race and political beliefs. By Monday, her hospital bio page displayed “Page not found”. Far too many engage in inappropriate emotional outbursts on social media that have led to severe consequences, including being fired from a job.
Reporter asserts all Covid deaths in the U.S. were preventable. My pointing out that Covid was not controlled anywhere in the world (having accurate data collection and reporting), and my pointing out that 27 other countries had worse outcomes than the U.S. is “denying that the deaths were preventable”. Therefore, you are cautioned that my inconvenient questions and observations are official disinformation, as determined by the Associated Press. Also, remember Betteridge’s Law – any headline that ends in a question mark means the story is bull shit.
“Journalists” now pretend they commit journalism by creating a story out of anonymous person’s online rants. Every day we can see fake news stories like this. At best, this is blogging – if even that. It certainly is not journalism.
NBC publishes a news report on Covid with a glaring simple math and logic problem. Embarrassing.
In an inconsistent twist, Twitter staff are said to be distraught that Musk will undo censorship features they implemented (but denied they had implemented). What?
Twitter was just acquired by Elon Musk. The company, fearful of retribution by staff, has locked down the source code to prevent sabotage by employees. What does that say about the company culture?
Zuckerburg’s ownership of Facebook and Instagram, billionaire Jack Dorsey’s prior control of Twitter, and Jeff Bezos’ ownership of The Washington Post are all okay – but Musk buying Twitter to open it up for free speech is bad. These arguments against Musk buying Twitter are not making a lot of sense.
Ridiculous and pointless frightening headline keeps everyone in a state of anxiety and acts as click-bait. This was from more than a day ago. A day later, we – surprise! – survived.
