5 software engineers on their lunch break at a restaurant say they were misidentified as undercover ICE agents and a mob appeared outside the restaurant, shouting, making threats against them, blowing whistles: EXCLUSIVE: Tech workers say they were mistaken for ICE agents, accosted by anti-ICE mob | Alpha News MN

Anti-ICE protesters hound tech workers after mistaking them for federal agents in Minneapolis

Meanwhile, Don Lemon, previously of CNN, brought a crowd to storm a church service in Minneapolis, incorrectly asserting the church pastor is affiliated with ICE:

Culture War Report on X: “DON LEMON & Protesters stormed a Minneapolis church chanting anti-ICE slogans, wrongly believing the pastor was ICE-affiliated. Church is no longer safe for peaceful worship. Disgraced ex-CNN host Don Lemon harassed pastors & parishioners on live, refused to leave when asked https://t.co/wX0OKDgnwR” / X

Also several reports of innocent people being assaulted, violently, and falsely accused of being with ICE. An older man (perhaps my age) was assaulted and said to have been knocked out – before the mob realized he was actually an anti-ICE protester. Another video shows some people in a car, at a stop light, having a mob surround their car and attempt to pull them from the car (which is likely very illegal). The far finally drives across the intersection.

We were expecting to do that trip this summer but have cancelled travel through Minnesota. (My parents both lived in Minnesota and my two older brothers were born in Minnesota.)
