Well, you can!<\/p>\n<p>And it is very easy to do in App Inventor.<\/p>\n<p>In the Designer, drop a WebViewer control on to your app&#8217;s screen design area. The WebViewer control is located at the bottom of the user interface section of the Palette:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/appinventor.pevest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/WebViewerControl.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-91\" src=\"http:\/\/appinventor.pevest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/WebViewerControl.png\" alt=\"WebViewerControl\" width=\"280\" height=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After dropping the control on to your user interface, select the control and set the Properties. In particular, set a default or initial web URL to display on the screen. Here, I have set the default URL to http:\/\/appinventor.pevest.com. Be sure to include the leading http:\/\/<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/appinventor.pevest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/WebViewerProperties.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-92\" src=\"http:\/\/appinventor.pevest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/WebViewerProperties.png\" alt=\"WebViewerProperties\" width=\"289\" height=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When your app runs, the WebViewer will automatically load the page at the HomeURL.<\/p>\n<p>You can change this page, programmatically. Here, for example, in response to a button press, the URL is changed to my 3D blog.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/appinventor.pevest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/WebChangeURL.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-93\" src=\"http:\/\/appinventor.pevest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/WebChangeURL.png\" alt=\"WebChangeURL\" width=\"962\" height=\"224\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Once this runs, the new page is read in to the viewer.
