{"id":3811,"date":"2015-10-25T22:20:58","date_gmt":"2015-10-26T05:20:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/3d.coldstreams.com\/?p=3811"},"modified":"2015-10-25T22:20:58","modified_gmt":"2015-10-26T05:20:58","slug":"youtube-3d-video-player-coming-back-slowly","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/coldstreams.com\/3d\/2015\/10\/25\/youtube-3d-video-player-coming-back-slowly\/","title":{"rendered":"Youtube 3D video player coming back, slowly?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I just noticed that when I watched <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Ii1lwL0OKFo\">this video <\/a>in Chrome (and only Chrome), that the video now has an option for 2D or 3D anaglyph (only 3D option).<\/p>\n<p>I then disabled the HTML5 player to revert back to the Flash-based player and confirmed that the above was really appearing in the HTML5 player, not flash.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, this new HTML5 3D video capability appears solely in Chrome. It did not appear in Firefox, Opera or Internet Explorer when I tested each.<\/p>\n<p>Having just watched The Martian (in 3D) at the theater today, it reaffirmed for us that we really like 3D!
