IEEE Spectrum makes the same odd comments about stereoscopic 3D glasses:<\/p>\n

Sports, which was considered to be a potential killer app for 3-D, fell victim to fact that inviting people around to watch the big game didn\u2019t really work with handing out glasses, not least because of the expense involved in buying additional sets.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But then immediately suggest wearing virtual reality helmets will be the next big thing:<\/p>\n

Lightweight 3D glasses (mine are nearly identical to my reading glasses) are a problem for viewers but virtual reality helmets are not a problem? Really?<\/p>\n
