In fact, let&#8217;s go back to theater stages &#8211; no, let&#8217;s just go back to books &#8211; no, let&#8217;s just go back to oral story telling!<\/p>\n<p>Does the world need movie critics? No. In one city where we used to live, the local paper&#8217;s movie critic larded his reviews with French phrases and citations to exotic foreign films, usually labeling the American made movie as pointless.
