To some extent, a lot of people eventually realized that Twitter was a bloated whale, and Musk’s mass layoffs there were essential (although handled haphazardly). And despite all the predictions that Twitter would immediately collapse, the company is still functioning okay.
You can be sure that others noticed this – and saw that a lot of tech companies were bloated.
