Public health messaging is a fiasco. Many Americans believe masks, which have failed to control the community spread of Covid-19 anywhere in the world, are more effective than vaccinations.
OMG.
A higher percentage of Americans (58%) plan to mask at least sometimes this flu season than intend to get vaccinated.

I have had 13 vaccination shots including this fall’s influenza vaccination in the past 2 year, 9 months. 3x vaccinated for Covid, I had Covid in June and do not plan to consider the revised booster until 3-6 month after having had Covid. I read that if we have good antibodies in our immune system, our immune response may interfere with the effectiveness of an additional vaccination shot. Hence, I am supposed to wait a while.
