If you live in an apartment, condo or townhome – there may be no easily accessible place to plug in an EV for charging.
It’s not just the availability of plugs near parking spots where many have no garages, for example – just a parking lot or on street parking. It is also the overall electrical infrastructure. Adding EV charging capacity to a large apartment may mean stringing in new distribution lines through the neighborhood. It’s a complicated problem.
