Surge in good news: My state announces vaccine eligibility to all starting May 1

The surge upon surge in good news is growing exponentially. May be we are seeing a tsunami of good news, eh?

This morning, I counted 29 states have already opened vaccine eligibility to those age 50+, 55+ or 60+, and some to age 16+ in effect now or will be in effect in the next 1-3 weeks.

But not my state. After President Biden announced a Federal May 1 target of vaccine availability to all adults, Oregon stuck with its July 1st estimated availability. However, the White House told Oregon that if it did not comply with May 1, then the Federal government would reduce or cut supply of vaccine to Oregon. Just like that, Oregon has now complied.
