Starting with Feb 6, daily vaccinations fell to very low levels in my County.
Initially, the state stopped distributing doses to my county and sent them instead to the Portland metro area.
Then weather within the state became a factor in distribution.
Now, national weather has delayed further shipments to the entire state.
Most of the shots delivered during this short fall, with some exceptions, were “2nd doses”.
During this time, the state’s public health agency held press conferences to tell us that everything is going great.
Hopefully, by next week, vaccinations will resume.
(It is possible that the last two days will see some updated numbers over the next couple of days.)
