Plummeting Covid numbers complicate the political push for $1.9 trillion in new spending. This is a side effect of the surge in good news. (Headline screen capture from Bloomberg.com on Feb 3, 2021.) Perhaps it is because of this? (I am a brain injured idiot who just makes observations and asks stupid questions)
