Might be some contracted delivery issues still but hearing J&J’s vaccine may be coming much sooner than expected:
President Joe Biden said Monday he believes it’ll be “this spring” when any American who wants a COVID-19 vaccine will be able to get one. This is perhaps the most ambitious target mentioned publicly by his administration thus far.
The new president also increased his hopes for how many doses of the vaccine can be delivered during his first 100 days in office, revising it from 100 million up to 150 million.
I am encouraged with the new 150M dose goal. That means that someone in the White House was actually listening – yay.
Also encouraged with potentially setting a goal of opening up vaccinations to the general public by sometime in the spring.
Not sure, though, how that will work with separate state set priorities that may be conflict with that (like my state).
Still, very glad to see this new goal. This is what has been necessary since the beginning! This is one of the most hopeful items I’ve seen in the past 10 months.
