Government to reduce vaccine deliveries to states that store doses

On a recent post – which I cannot find at the moment – I suggested vaccine allocations might be cut to states whose vaccination programs are in disarray. Why send vaccine doses to states that are just storing them rather than putting them in people’s arms?

Today the government announced it will priority allocate vaccines to states that demonstrate competence in administering doses, rather than competence in storing doses in freezers.
