WEST VALLEY BEGINNING MARCHING BAND

SCHEDULE – SATURDAY, MAY 8

8:30 AM Report to WVHS (Enter thru Gym Doors – North Vista) Band Room

(French-braid hair or do it at home, hand-out shirts, etc.)

9:00 AM Marching Band practice WVHS Track

9:30 AM Depart for Downtown Spokane Bus

9:45 AM Arrive in Downtown Spokane Parking Lot

NORTH CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL

10:30 AM Report to Staging Arena

11:00 AM The “Mighty” WVSD Marching Band Takes Over the Parade Downtown

(WE ARE UNIT #81 – LAST BAND IN THE PARADE)

12:00 PM Depart for Millwood Park NCHS

(Any student leaving with parents must be signed-out at NCHS)

(Please don’t be late as it causes all us to be late… thank you)

12:30 PM Arrive at Millwood Park (Food and fun) Millwood

2:00 PM Party’s Over! The Park

(All students must be signed out with parents at Millwood Park)

SPECIFIC DETAILS

GIRLS: French-braid hair (At home, if possible; I’ll have WVHS Band students to help if needed)

ALL: Wear blue jeans/tennis shoes – shirts and shades will be given out on Saturday morning

Bring $10.00 (Includes T-shirt, sunglasses, pizza and drink)

WVHS Band students will help me supervise before and during the parade (ride the bus)

Families are invited for Pizza & Pop ($3.00 for 2 slices and 1 pop) – see Permission Form

SPECIFIC NEEDS

FOOD: Pick-up soda pop and bring to Millwood Park – reimbursed (please email me)

Bake cookies and other desserts and bring to Millwood Park (please email me)

VIDEO: Videotape before, during and after the parade – ride the bus (please email me)

PHOTOS: Shoot photos before, during and after the parade – ride the bus (please email me)
